My Dream: A White Christmas in the Philippines |
December up to middle of February are the coldest month here in the Philippines but apparently, there is no snow. But I am wishing and dreaming for a white Christmas for us Filipinos. I mean it is so cool and fun playing on a white and fluffy snow flakes on the ground. It would be awesome to make my very own snowman with a nose of a carrot. I would also make fun with my friends and we will throw snowballs with each other. *Sigh*
Winter is also a good season to be fashionable. We can wear layers of dress and we can just mix and match until we find the perfect match. I remember last February when the temperature fell to 16 degree celcius (well that is pretty cold for our tropical skin). People here in Manila wore layers of shirt including their fashionable jackets. Well I was one of them. I wore my emo and black hoodie (jacket with a hood) at that time. It feels good. I wonder if someone would wear a Russian Ushanka Fur Hat. But hey! I probably wear that one since I am craving for a beanie because that is one of the IN things today.

ReplyDeleteThanks Diamond! I have visited your blog already! :)
ReplyDeleteI wish Malaysia also have winter season . I love winter so much .
ReplyDeleteIf winter did happen to the Phiippines -- our world could be in real danger. Imagine the sudden shift of weather. I know there would be mixed emotions for people back in our country. Some will be happy and some will be terrified specially those people who knows global warming. But I do love the idea too.
ReplyDeleteWinter Girl,
ReplyDeleteI noticed that you really love winter. (Based on your screen name) :) Let us hope for the best!
Noel,
ReplyDeleteYeah! This will shocked everyone especially those people who doesn't have their own houses or living in a house that can't handle too much weight due to snow. But I think the government can provide.
I like that.. but for us to have a white Christmas, another part of the world will suffer in intense heat... A scary thought about the end of the world!
