$35 Aakash Tablet - Cheapest Tablet ever!
Do you think that Kindle fire is the cheapest tablet in the entire world? Better think again because India will be releasing the world's cheapest tablet called Aakash that means "Sky" in english. For $35, you can buy this touch-screen tablet computer. Cheap is not it?

The government of India said that poverty is not a barrier for the people in India to have their own tablet computer. That is the main reason why they invented Aakash tablet computer. They already released 500 tablets for testing and to prove the capability and determine the limit of the said tablet.

A $35 Aakash tablet enables the user to do things like word processing, internet browsing and video conferencing. It has a 7-inch touch screen, Android 2.2 OS, a pair of USB ports, 256 megabytes of RAM and has a three-hour battery life.

I wonder when will the Philippines release its own version of Aakash tablet computer. Beat that!
