Typhoon Mina Update - Class Suspension August 26, 2011

Typhoon Mina or Bagyong Mina is getting stronger and some of the places here in the Philippines are experiencing heavy rain that causes flood. Now, students are asking if classes are suspended.

Since there are not yet announcement about suspension of classes, DepEd said that students must based on the automatic suspension guidelines. For storm number 1, no classes in Kinder. In signal number 2, there are no classes in Kinder, Pre-school and Grade schools.

It is now signal number 1 in Nueva Ecija, Nueva Viscaya, Quirino, Ifugao, Mt. Province, Kalinga, Apayao, Calayan, Babuyan, Batanes Group of Islands and the rest of Aurora province . Signal number 2 in Northern Aurora, Isabela and Cagayan
