How to Withdraw Adbrite Cheque in the Philippines?

I finally got my check/cheque from Adbrite early this month and I am super confused what to do with this piece of paper. I have been asking my Mom and my friends how to withdraw money from Adbrite here in the Philippines? The bank is not specified and I don't have a bank account yet so how the hell can I get my money out of that paper?

The money that I earned in Adbrite is not that big ($22.63) but I need that money to buy something.  I need to withdraw the money ASAP because it will expire soon. if I don't get that money, I will remove all of my Adbrite ads here on this blog.

If you are an Adbrite user and you have an experience in withdrawing money from Adbrite, I terribly need your help. Please share the step below. I would really appreciate it.

  1. Thanks to your post I checked out Adbrite and realized that I signed up but never did use the system to place ads on any of my sites. I'll change that soon. :)

Sadly though, I didn't find any information about the back. Chances are, the only option you have is to cash it by depositing it on your own bank account. Which means you will have to open one. Where are you located? There's a BDO savings account that I think only requires 3K to open, but will start earning interest at 5k. There may be other smaller banks that will be more suitable for you. There are even banks that don't require a minimum maintaining balance (i think). So just deposit your check, and then withdraw the amount a day later (or after clearing).

Ah now that I think about it, I think the fact that they pay in check is also one of the reasons I never got around to setting up their ads on my blogs.

  2. That would be the first option vera. Thanks for the comment. =)

I also heard that you can simply exchange the cheque in local money changer in your area but they will have a percentage to that. But the good thing is you can get the money instantly.

  3. Deposit it to your bank account. That's the only way, just like with FriendFinder, etc. It's an international cheque. That's also one of the reasons why I didn't continue with them - I want all my earnings in one place (Paypal). Hehehe.

  6. If I'm not mistaken if the currency is in U$Dollar then you have to open a dollar account here in the Philippines if you want to deposit it. You can't simply deposit it to your Peso savings account.
