I was browsing the internet for the most searched keyword in the Philippines for the last 7 days and I found out that Bagyong Quiel is on top, No Other Woman on the second spot and mov0001.swf is on the third spot. That made me wonder what the heck is mov0001 swf?

I tried to google it but there are only few websites that tackle this keyword and a lot of them are not even connected with the said keyword.

How to switch back to the old blogger interface?

A while ago, I checked my blogger account as usual and saw this pop up on my screen that wants me to try out bloggers new interface for 2011. I hurriedly clicked it and voila! My blogger account's interface was fully changed. Frankly, I was not impressed at all. The new interface was so confusing and not easy to navigate compared to the old one.

Just now, I decided to switch back to my old blogger interface which a lot more better. If you are asking how to switch back to the old blogger interface, you can see a link on the upper side of you blogger dashboard. Click it and wait for the page to load back to normal.

Getting a page rank from google is not that easy. You have to work for it. You have to write quality contents, link up to the blogs that tackle the same topic as yours so that you gain popularity and grab the attention of thousands of search engines on the world wide web.

Tonight, I checked my facebook account and saw someone posted that the big GEE updated the page ranks of blog sites all over the world. What I did is I went to a site that checks my blog's page rank. This blog, Llama's Journal retained its PR3 which is good. While DeejSpeaks which is my personal blog got PR3. After 6 months of waiting, finally I got what I wanted.

Since I am IT student, I am trying to learn different programs that can help me to achieve what I want to be. Like I learned how to create a webpage using a notepad with the HTML codes. I am expecting to learn how to use Dreamweaver soon in my E-commerce class. Although I have a multimedia class right now, we only tackled about using Flash Macromedia and a little bit of AfterEffects.


I can say that I have an advanced knowledge in using Photoshop compared to my other classmates because I am using photoshop for like years now. I can manipulate photos like vectoring, enhancing, and I also know how to use a pen tool. *wink* Pen tool is like the hardest tool in photoshop because you are dealing with curves so that is very confusing I guess.

Be Listed on my New Blogroll

Since our classes are suspended today because of the typhoon called "Juan" (Oh! It is a super typhoon). I have a lot of time to do some extra work regarding on my blogs. I was about to start this new blog post after knowing that we don't have classes today but I decided to watch glee first. I also played on my photoshop CS4 and tried my luck to do some typography and other designs. Okay, enough with these matters. 

This will be my second blog roll.

We all know that blogrolls are very essential to us bloggers because this is a way of exposing your blog to other bloggers out there. It is like you are shouting "Hey! I am a blogger. Come visit me on my blog". So a lot of bloggers are very interested to be in someone's blogroll (well that includes me).


While I am blog hopping, I saw this well-organized blog with a lot of blogrolls or blog list. It  is like she is collecting links every other month. I am sure that is the reason why she is that so popular in the world of blogging today. And I want to use that strategy. I want to put up another blog roll and collect links for me to have more connections and friends in the blogosphere.

The Web Designer within me

Hey folks! I am not here to post something about issues and scandals because I already posted one before about the newest video scandal of Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho. I just want to  update you guys about the thing that I did for the whole day. Well this is a semi-personal blog so don't react if you are a first timer here on my blog.


I tried to finish a web page for my first ever client. She is a dentistry student in University of the East and she wants me to create their dental clinic for their project in Finals. She just gave me the important details that I must include and link with each other. While the design, color, column etc. depend on me. I said to her that I can finish their web page on Tuesday and she can pick it up at school. Well, the web page is almost done (all I have to do is the linking).

How To Make a Better Blog?

Making a blog is a good way to express our feelings towards certain things or happenings in our life. Our blog can be our journal for us to release the deepest part of ourself. I started blogging when I am not emotionally stable. Things are so hard to comprehend and carrying all of my problems  is killing me on the inside. Then I decided to have my free blog for me to throw everything away (emotional garbage).


I started on WordPress then I decided to move in to blogger. The platform of blogger is very easy to navigate and you can choose a lot of awesome themes.


Here is my basic step by step tutorial on how to make a better blog:

1. Choose a blog platform. Choose WordPress if you want a minimal blog. If you like a more stylish blog design, then choose blogspot. I haven't used any blog platform except for the two.


2. Sign up first. You should fill out the form with your exact details of information for you to access your own dashboard and start writing your first blog post.


3. Choose your design. Just search for free theme and download the file. There are thousands of them so choose wisely. If you know basic HTML, then it is your advantage. Design your blog uniquely. There are millions of blogs on the internet now. Better be unique and stand out.


4. Put on the widgets. Widgets are HTML codes that you can inject on your blog. Some of them are so cute like the hamster thingy. Some of them will track you blogs visitors or blog statistics. But put the widgets that will help your blog. Some of them will make your blog load slower than usual.

I am now Using SimpleFolio Template!

I finally found a new template for this blog after craving for some changes last night. I hate myself for not being satisfied easily when it comes to my blog's theme. As you can remember, I just had my blog make-over last month and I applied thesis template for bloggers. Now, I promise that this template that I have right now will last until New year. I will never change it unless something bad happened or if it has some bad effects to my blog's performance like speed, SEO and so on...


So far so good. I am pretty satisfied with this one. I browsed the internet for like 3 straight hours today searching for simple, elegant, and professional template. Luckily, I found this. 

SimpleFolio Theme For Bloggers

I am currently using SimpleFolio. A wordpress theme converted into Blogspot. I am a big fan of wordpress themes so I terribly want to use one even though I am a wordpress user (well I was).


If you would ask me my verdict about the theme, it is a simple and elegant theme. It has the best typography ever! Very cold to the eyes and navigational as well. I am planning to tweak it to make add some columns on the footer. I also deleted the small slideshow on the top of the page because I don't have something to feature and it is time consuming. It took me an hour to finish it including the application of widgets and insertion of some HTML codes.


I also want to ask you guys about my new template. What can you say about it? Please drop your comments.

Blog Make-Over Again?

I hate this feeling! I think I will never be contented with what I have right now. Something triggered me to have a blog make-over again and I started searching for simple and elegant themes for my blog. I had my blog make-over last month after I discovered thesis template for bloggers. I am satisfied with the output because I think it is elegant and looks neat. But I think there is something missing.


I am looking for a template that has these characteristics or functions:

• Simple and Elegant
• Looks Neat and easy to navigate
• 3 or 4 columns
• Easy to manage

I have searched the internet to find the keywords that I want to emphasize but I found none. I will still look for one and I hope I can have my blog make-over before weekend.

Thinking so hard

What do you think guys? Do I have to change my theme now or do I have to maintain it? I need your honest opinion guys. Please help me.

A Must Have for Bloggers!

Blogging is the new Journalism. I have read that phrase somewhere in the internet but I forgot the specific site. It sounds great right? There are so many people studying a Journalism class just to be someone they wanna be without knowing that there is an easy way to be an instant journalist and have their own sites or blogs where they can write their thoughts, opinions, and desire for the country or for themselves.


That is why I am very proud to be a blogger and I will never stop blogging. Unless my mom don't pay the bills. Being a blogger is a big advantage for an individual because you can be recognized if you make good articles offline and online. You will also gain new friends, knowledge, and respect from the people that you encounter everyday.


Blogging feels like I am a professional one. I don't own a company and don't have my employees but I have a blog. Blogs to be specific. I think I need to have my personal contact cards. Maybe there is someone who wants to contact me or hire me in their business as a writer or encoder perhaps. I will do some drafts later using my Adobe Photoshop. I will think of something creative and geeky that fits my taste as an IT student and a graphic designer wannabe.

Craving for my Own Web Host

Argh! I really cannot decide if I should pay for my own web hosting service for my two blogs or just leave everything to blogspot. I mean I am pretty contended with the performance of my blogs now like their loading speed is great and I am not having a hard time in designing my blog's templates because there are sites that I can download free themes for my blogs and they are what I need the most.

I know I have said this already but I want to say it again. I am seeing a lot of my friend's blog with their own web host but some of them are so slow when you visit its pages. I also heard something that your blog is prone to hackers or viruses. I am not sure if this is true or not.


Until now, I am still searching for a reliable and affordable web host that has a dedicated hosting. It means that I am looking for a dedicated sites or web hosting services. The ones that are willing to do everything just to make sure that their clients are satisfied with the service that they are providing.


So if you know a web site or a web host that have that qualities that I have mentioned above, please let me know. The gist is: Quality web host and Affordable one. 

A Webhost~For Bloggers Who Leveled-Up

Until now, I am still thinking of having a web hosting service for my blogs. Because I think I deserve this and I really need to have this. I have been blogging for like 10 months now and I think it is about time. I leveled-up, and that is for sure. But there are doubts and fears within me because I don't have any idea is setting up or in choosing a better web hosting services. There are a lot of them and I can't choose. I have seen a lot of bloggers with their self-hosted blogs that totally messed up everything like the loading speed of their blogs.



I am looking for a service with a managed hosting like the one in blogspot. They will manage your files like images, videos, and audios. All you have to do is do your work online and they will compile everything for you. It would be not cheap as you think but it is pretty much worthy and less hassle.


If you already have your web hosting service but you are not satisfied with its performance, then maybe it is time for you to have another web hosting site that offers a colocation. It is a transfer of files from one web host to another. If you want, you can visit  superb dot net because they offer this kind of service.

Llama's Journal: An Entertainment Blog

Llama's Journal will be turning 1 this coming November and I have a gift for this blog. A Niche. Yes! Having a blog niche is too hard to attain because you can't focus on something and make sure that you attract a lot of visitors from that niche.

This blog is now an Entertainment blog. If you noticed the tabs on my header above, you can see that I have partitioned it into 10 parts; Entertainment, Celebrities, TV Shows, Music, Movies, Products, Internet, Blogging, Personal and Manga. These will be that topics of my blog from now on.

Thanks to thesis theme for bloggers for giving me a lot of opportunity to modify my blog. I am planning to apply the same template on DeejSpeaks but I am having second thoughts because it took me 1 day to modify the whole theme.

I am getting worried on the sites that is paying for reviews because the newly found niche might interfere with the opportunities. 


I have to insert this line btw: The module apologizes in a climate.

Thesis Template for Blogspot is so Awesome!

Thesis theme is the most prominent theme for WordPress users. This theme is made by DIY Themes and I must salute their awesome creations! "Do more, Code less", that is thesis all about. It will make your blog looks professional without having a hard time doing some coding on xml or html.

As a blogspot or blogger user, I tried to search for a kick-a$$ template that will suit my taste and landed on a site that offers Thesis template for blogspot. I decided to apply it on Llama's Journal and it worked good. I only edited some minor links and created a header and voila! Llama's Journal looks awesome in a just a snap.


I really love this new template and looking forward for another version of thesis template for blogger users.

Llama's Journal's New Feature: ChatBox

I have put a chatbox before on this blog and it goes out well. But in the middle of my blogging life, I decided to removed it because I don't know where to put it since I am not good with tweaking HTML codes.
